Channel Lagging
Jennmar's channel lagging is designed specifically to handle the ground conditions, backfill and mining equipment pressures. The channel sections are specifically designed for use with structural members and ease of installation. The sections and materials used is design for efficient installation and transportation to the tunnel location. A variety of sections, thickness and coating are available for project specific designs and applications.
Liner Plate
4-flange steel liner plates, a system successfully used since 1926, provide lightweight, easy-to-handle, and safe support for soft ground. Tunneling and shaft construction are made in the USA (Sinton, TX and Louisville, KY).
4-flange liner plates manufactured by Jennmar Civil are available in 16” and 24” widths as corrugated or smooth plates. Liner plates are formed from one piece of steel to provide longitudinal and circumferential flanges with optimum load-bearing and bending resistance characteristics.
Lattice Girder
Look to Jennmar Civil for quality USA manufacturing and development of ground support elements. We provide designs and products for Lattice Girders used in SEM/NATM construction.
V-Deck Lagging
Jennmar Engineering has designed, tested, and developed the Impact Resistant Lagging (IRL) system to protect steel sets. Various steel sets that are protected with IRL panels have been approved by MSHA and installed in several underground roof fall rehabilitation projects.
Steel Ribs
Steel ribs are efficient and safe ground control elements in underground construction. Selection of section type and dimension is accomplished following structural and project requirements. Besides custom-bent steel ribs, straight beams, forepoling sheets, and steel lagging can also be fabricated.
Jennmar Civil manufactures cold-formed beams for underground support applying sound techniques for shaping steel required in the tunneling industry.
